Burgos To Be Auctioned

WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. The 19S1 New Zealand Derby winner Burgos and his dam, Glad Tidings, will be offered for sale by auction at the annual summer sale of mixed racing stock at Trentham in January. The vendors are the trustees of the estate of the late Mr P. Curtis, who bred Burgos and his dam. The sale is necessary to

assist in the winding up of Mr Curtis s estate. When this message was ' referred to the Riccarton trainer G. S. Barr early last evening, Barr said he had not been informed of any plans to sell the colt. However, after making inquiries, he confirmed later that Burgos would be put Up fo? auction. fl.
