Soldiers Freed From Gaol In Congo

LONDON. Nov. 23. Soldiers of the Central Cangaieae Government had stormed » civilian gaol In Leopoldville and freed other soldiers being held there, the "Dally Mail” reported. Shooting broke out when police tried to stop them, the report said. It was understood that one policeman was killed and two were wounded, the report said. The prisoners had been flown to Leopoldville from Luluabourg. after the rape and rioting in Luluabourg earlier this month, the report said.
It said that about 130 Army prisoners had been flown to Leopoldville.
