Tradesmen Short
Hiere were good jobs for tradesmen in South Westland, an officer of the Lands and Survey Department said this week, but no-one was taking them up. There wes work for fencers, plumbers, painters and builders, he Mid. Referring to toe department’s development blocks, the officer said it was unable to obtain men to build piggeries and cowsheds. **We have toe finance to build a piggery here but we cannot get anyone to build it,” he said during a visit to a property at Hari Hari. As well, in the next five yeans, many houses would have to be built on toss land, he said.
