Easier Note Brings Trading To Close
Trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday dosed the week on an easier note with 19 rises and 20 falls. Zealand shares had only two more rises than falls, while overseas shares had nine falls to six rises. New Zealand Newspapers rose Is 9d to 66s §d, while Wright Stephenson debentures changed hands at 365, up Is. Other New Zealand shares to improve were Canterbury Frozen Meat, Mosgiel. Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Farmers’ Trading, Fletcher, Golden Bay, Milne and Choyce, Ross and Glendining, Whitcombes and Beaths Is paid.
