Seen at the Christchurch Show last week, a new type of farm slaughterhouse for sheep is being made in Christchurch. The slaughterhouse is basically a large concrete water tank with a flyproof door in the side and ventilator in the roof and a drain in the floor. The gimbals and hoist can be attached to a steel bar set in the top of the inside walls which have been finished with a smooth plaster.
