FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—A cold front is moving northeastwards over central districts of New Zealand and another is approaching the south-west of the country. Forecast:— Canterbury and Kaikoura Coast.—Fresh southwesterlies, soon becoming general, with some showers and cold temperatures. Outlook: showers. Marlborough.—Nor th-westerlies, fresh to strong at times, with partly cloudy weather at first; a change to fresh south-westerlies with some showers and cooler temperatures about midday. Outlook: showers. ' Nelson.—West to south-west winds, fresh at times; partly cloudy weather predominating, but some showers about the ranges; temperatures mild. Outlook: rain likely. West Coast.—Winds between west and southwest, fresh at times; variable skies with occasional showers and cool temperatures. Outlook: partly, cloudy.
