Tube Classhouse

A fiuorescent-tube glasshouse has been built by Mr G. M. Cooke, master-at-arms. Royal New Zealand Navy, in the garden of his home in Takapuna. He used 478 tubes and a small quantity of glass The house was a gift to his wife. It is eight feet high, six feet long and six feet wide. The roof lets in just enough rain to keep the inside warm and moist. To fit the tubes, ail he did was slot the timber beams and slide the end of the tubes into place.
