MONEY FOR CITY ROADING
Forecast For Next Year
The City Council has told the National Roads Board that in 1962-63 it estimates to spend £707.450 on its subsidised works reading programme, including capital works. The council’s estimate is that £184,000 will be financed by loans, that £292,000 will be met from revenue, and that the subsidy payable by the board will amount to £219,000.
