Group Profit Down 20 Per Cent.

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, November 14. Total sale of Associated Pulp and Paper Mills. Ltd., rose from £16.9 million to £17.1 million in the year to June 30. However, reflecting reduced profit margins, group profit (previously reported) fell 20 per cent. Paper sales outside the group amounted to 73.000 tone with a value of £13.6 million. Tliis compared with 71,473 tons worth £13.7 million in the previous year. Output of pulp rose from 41,461 tons to 42.600 tons. Profit was £1,175,597 in 1960-61, and ordinary dividend, reduced from 11 to 8 per cent., takes £692,998.
