BERLIN CRISIS

Nehru Thinks War Unlikely

(NJZ. Press Assn.—Copyright) LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14. The Indian Prime Minister (Mr Nehru) predicted in Los Angeles yesterday: "War is unlikely in the foreseeable future.” He said that he felt the Berlin crisis was easing. He said that the way to some kind of solution of the Berlin crisis "is gradually opening out" Mr Nehru, who is 72 today, made his remarks before visiting a film studio on his first trip to Hollywood. He also said: India would not build fallout shelters. The aims of the Soviet Union and China were somewhat different today. The Soviet Union was by and large a satisfied country —almost, one might say, a conservative country. This was where the two leading Conucuniit nations differed. Asked whether Russia and China were near an open break, Mr Nehru said: "Their relations are not good but reasons compel them to keep together."
