Disney, twc strokes down after the first round, won the Australiar amateur foursome golf championship at the Royal Melbourne course yesterday. The Sydney pair,. P. Billings and N. Wade, returnee an afternoon round of 69 tc take second place. The best of the visiting New Zealanders were S. G Jones and R. C. Murray, with 1481 They had rounds of 7! and 73. W. J. Godfrey and R. R Newdlck had an aggregate ol 153 from rounds of 75 and 78 while F. T. Gordon and I. D Woodbury went round in It and 76 for an aggregate 155. The New Zealanders have three days of practice ahead of them before they begir playing in the qualifying
