Police Use Tear Gas
(A'ZJ’ A.-Reuter— Copyrtpirt, BERLIN, Not. 12. East Berlin and West Berlin police last night hurled nearly 100 tear gas at each other when a “ esi Berlin loud-speaker van appeared at the border m the French sector. The wind favoured the West Berlin police and blew all the tear gas towards the East Berlin police, forcing there to flee. West Berlin police said. Tonight, East Berlin police stopped a car with Swiss number plates at the Friedrichstrasse crossing point <® the border, and arrested the driver and two passengers. West Berlin police reported.
