JERSEY COW'S SUCCESS

Flight To Auckland Arranged

The champion Jersey cow at the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association s show yesterday, win be flown to Auckland by the owner this month to compete in the Royal show there. The cow is F. W. Hansen’s Lilac Grove Heide. She was winner of last year’s Royal show in Canterbury, and winner of the Royal show at In vercargiti. The judge (Mr J. Dobson, of Taranaki) said yesterday: "This is an outstanding show cow. and Mr Hansen should be well rewarded for his enterprise. It says a lot for a man to go to the trouble of sending a cow to Auckland to defend his championship.”
