Creditors’ Petition Withdrawn

Mr Justice Macarthur in the Supreme Court yesterday granted an application by creditors of Carlton Grain and Produce, Ltd, to withdraw a petition for the winding up of the company. Mr L. V. Quigley, for the petitioning creditors, said the debt had been paid to his clients, Gordon Thomas Smart and Mary Christina Smart, farmers, of Rakaia. Mr P. Hill, for the other creditors of the company, said all those creditors had been satisfied.
