On Bail To Sit Final Exams
(Jt-Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. A 19-yeor-old student whc pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court today to converting 12 cars to a tota' value of £13,870, was allowed bail, on the application of hit counsel, so that he could sil his final examinations at th< university. He was Bruce Cameron, represented by Mi G. C. Kent. Prosecuting for the police Mr G. -Wells said that in each case Cameron had taken the keys from the vehicles and thrown them away. All the cars had been recovered undamaged. Mr M. B. Scully, SM, remanded Cameron for one week for a probation officer’s report.
