Anchor-Red Signal Picked For Bulls
"The Press” Special Service
WELLINGTON October 27. Form at the Wellington spring meeting has been a reliable guide in the past for the Rangitikei Racing Club's fixture and in this respect Anchor and Red Signal have good qualifications in tomorrow's T.A.B. double at Bulla, the respective legs being the Rangitikei and McKelvie Memorial Handicaps. Lesser lights which raced with distinction at Trentham and which should have good prospects at Bulls, are Fair Symbol, Ataarangi, Bright Summer and Funny Story, Anchor beat all but Nerula In the Watkins Handicap a week ago. On Monday. Red Signal was never far from the pace in the Nalnal Handicap, but was well beaten by Outcome. Tomorrow's field is not as strong. Selections:— 11 a.m.—Sandon Hack Hurdles: Calm Fort.
