There was a good attendance of spectators when the finals of the Irish national games were decided at Rugby Park yesterday. The games were part of the Irish national feis held in the city during the weekend. Young Irelands (Lower Hutt) beat Auckland, 11-6. to win the final of the Gaelic football. Wellington had a decisive win. 24-12. against Young Irelands in the final of the hurling. In the final of the camogie (women’s hurling) Christchurch beat Auckland. 27-0.
