SCHOOL JUBILEE CONCLUDES
Sports, Barbecue And Ball A jubilee ball which was held in the Mount Hutt Memorial Hall ended the celebrations marking the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Lyndhurst School Yesterday afternoon, schoolchildren took part la a sports meeting which ended with a barbecue. Mr J. Roas, of Ashburton one of the earliest pupils at the school, planted a golden ash tree in the grounds of the school on Sunday afternoon, to commemorate the anniversary. Earlier, more than 200 had attended the combined church service.
