The main event of the day. the New Zealand all-breeds championship, was won by J. G. Broad’s (Invercargill) dog’. Flagstaff Sport Although the dog had been in retirement for a year, it gave an outstanding performance to complete what is said to be a New Zealand record for a gun dog—it has now won a North Island, a South Island, and a New Zetland championship. In the retriever championship, also held in ideal weather on Saturday, R. W. Marks’ (Christchurch) Labrador. Lyn Tuwry Goldie, after scoring 79 points in the water section, gave sn excellent performance in the land section lo score 94 points, giving it the title.
