TWO MASTER MARINERS
Life Members Of Company (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 22. Two well-known master mariners—Captains F. Mackenzie, of Dunedin, and H. Donald, of Wellington—were presented with life membership certificates of the New Zealand Company of Master Mariners at the annual dinner of the Wellington branch last evening. Captain Mackenzie was formerly Otago Harbourmaster and was a foundation member of the Company of Master Mariners. Captain Donald was formerly a member of the staff of the Marine Department Presenting the certificates. Captain H. McG. Post said both men had rendered outstanding service to New Zealand during their long association with the shipping industry. The warden of the Wellington branch. Captain K. D. Mitchell, said both men were a credit to their profession and were highly respected and valuable members of the Company of Master Mariners. I.A.T.A. Meetings— Australia will be host in Sydney next week for the annual meeting of the International Air Transport Association.—Sydney, October 21.
