MAN FALLS OFF TRUCK

Serious Injury To Face (NZ Press Association) ' PALM. NTH, Oct 22. A man suffered serious injuries to the left side of his face when he fell from the deck of a truck an to the Sanson-Himatangi highway on Saturday. He is Mr Carlton Potaka, aged 22, of Hereford street Palmerston North, and he was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital The accident occurred when Mr Potaka was appertly looking over the side of the truck, and lost his balance. There was no protection for passengers on the deck. His condition, as reported by the hospital last night was comfortable.
