PIGEON FLYING CLUB
The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club held Its second flock rice from Palmertton North but Saturday. A three-bird race wai held in conjunction with the flock and fart tlmei were recorded in ideal flying conditions One hundred and four pigeons were entered from 20 lofts »nd returns were good. Blscimwre 8 37:34. 8; D. Terry. 5 58:56, 3; £. Milne, 60 30. 10. Three - bird—H. Clemen*. 536:1. 1; B. Gates. 6:4:59. 2; A Anderson, 63:7, 3: W. Huschamp. 63:3*. 4; D. Terry. 49:29, 5; E. Milne, 6930. 6; A. barker. 6:’798. 7; f. Griffiths. *3l-30. 8; R Mayes. 622:37. 3; K. Blackmoreji363l. 10. The final race from south was also held on Saturday. This was a two-bird race from Invercargill, over 2M mllvs. Because of adv-rse conditions, during the season only six membert entered Results were:— C. Hooflervost. 3:5:46. 1; J. MUler. 1036:0. 2.
