Ship Offered In Sydney (N2. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct 12. The veteran trans-Tasman passenger liner Wanganella, the last remaining liner on a regular Australia-New Zealand run, is being offered for cash sale at Sydney, according to information received in Wellington today. The ownership of the vessel recently changed hands. Bitumen Oil Refineries (Australia), Ltd., of Sydney, bought out Huddart Parker Industries. Ltd., her former owners. The shipping interests have since been transferred to Mcllwraith, McEachern, Ltd., of Australia. A spokesman for Huddart Parker, Ltd, which is continuing to act as the New Zealand agent for the ship, said today that the Wellington office had received “no definite information yet” He said the office had time-tables and was accepting bookings for up to April, I?d3.
