Improvement To Coast Roads

(Paritamcntarp Reporter) WELLINGTON, Oct 12. Improvements on the West Coast highway were the subject of a question asked in the House of Representatives this afternoon by Mr P. Blanchfield (Opposition, Westland). Mr Blanchfield asked the Minister of Works (Mr Goosman) whether, as he had announced that there could be no consideration of the erection of separate road bridges on the Teremakau and Arahura rivers for some years, he would investigate the feasibility of overhead trafficways on the existing railway bridges. You must have long-range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short-range failures.—Charles E. Nobles.
