Training Of Army Parachutists

tN-Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 5. The Auckland Parachute Club will begin giving members of the Special Air Service Squadron ‘‘continuation training” soon. It will probably be the first time in the world that Army paratroops have been trained by sport parachutists. The president of the club (Mr R. Rickaby) said today that the Army had authorised the training of qualified SA S. parachutists under the club’s instructors. The decision came only after a detailed examination of programmes and techniques by a party of Army experts.
