IMPROVED BUS SERVICES
Altered Times On Several Routes Improvements to several bus services operated by the Christchurch Transport Board will come into operation today. The Northcote route will be extended by way of Cavendish road and Veitch road to the junction of Veitch road and Grampian street. The Cranford street and Lincoln road evening timetable from Monday to Thursday has been altered to provide a 30-minute frequency. The same allocation will apply to the St. Albans Park and Spreydon service, and the Richmond and Marshland road service. There will be an additional trip from Grahams road, Fendalton, at 7.10 pm. on Fridays and an additional trip from Weston road at 726 a.m. on Fridays. The Huntsbury school bus will now leave from the foot of the hill five minutes later, at 3.17 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. The Shirley cinema bus will leave Cathedral square five minutes later, at 10.40 pm.
