Aid For Bedridden Tenants Sought

(NX. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 27. Aid for bedridden beneficiaries In making their applications for relief from State house rent increases was sought by Miss M. B. Howard (Labour, Sydenham), in the House of Representatives today. She asked the Minister in charge of the State Advances Corporation (Mr Rae) at question time whether the corporation, in cases of people unable to get out from their homes, and who did not know any authorised person who could witness their signature, would authorise an official to call at beneficiaries’ homes before rents were raised.
