A new type of British vertical take-off aircraft has completed tests in switching from vertical to horizontal flight, it was announced yesterday. The Hawker T 1127, built by the Bristol Siddeley Company, switches from vertical to horizontal flight by means of four adjustable nozzles. It is capable of 600 miles per hour.
