Engineers Elect Officers
Mr G. H. Battersby, general manager of the Christchurch Municipal Electricity Department, was elected president of the Electric Supply Authority Engineers’ Institute of New Zealand at the annual conference yesterday. Mr Battersby has been a member of the imrtitute’s executive' since 1955 and a vice-president since 1957.
Mr A. G. P. Holloway, of Wellington, was elected first vice r president and Mr T E. Kelly, of Hawke’s Bay, second vice-president. The new executive will be Messrs N. A. Andrews (Wai-
meal, S. it. Anstice (DunJohnatone Chnatchurch), M. G. Key« w. M E. Mirams •Taranaki), and c. L. Waiter (Central Waikato).
