More Carpets.— More than 3m square yards of carpet was produced in New Zealand last year, compared with 2.495 m square yards in 1959. ’The total included 1.938 m square yards of woven and tufted body carpet, 590,000 square yards of floor rugs and 540,000 square yards of other* carpeting.
