“The Press” Special Service ORARI, September 20. Morelia is a doubtful starter in the hurdles at Wingatui on Saturday. . She injured a stifle last Saturday, and may be put aside until next year without any more racing this spring. The plough and trial grass were both in good order at Orari this morning. Lola (G. T. Dobbs) went solo over three furlongs in 38 4-ssec, and was keen to go faster.

Open View (S. Hepburn) and Sherwood Forest (G. T. Dobbs) finished a working gallop with half a mile in. 53 3-ssec. Open View won the gallop by three-quarters of a length. A Lord Drake filly (G. T. Dobbs) and Leslie Bell (S, Hepburn) ran three furlongs easily in 39 l-ssec on the trial grass.

Jancafay (P. Stock) and E.macoma (L. Stock) completed a useful five-furlong trial in Imin 2 l-ssec.

Eimacoma led by a neck at the end, but Jancafay was not bustled.

Sigurd (G. T. Dobbs), after a leisurely first furlong, ran five furlongs in Imin ssec and did her work easily.
