Election Next Month (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, Sept. 20. The Greek Prime Minister (Mr Constantine Karamanlis) said last night he would tender the resignation of his Government to King Paul today, the Associated Press reported from Athens. He said that he would ask the King to sign a Royal decree dissolving Parliament and proclaim General Elections for October 29. Mr Karamanlis also said he would suggest that the General Elections be conducted by a caretaker Cabinet headed by a nominee enjoying the confidence of the opposition parties. Mr Karamanlis would not say what prompted him to resign. Associated Press said his Cabinet could remain in power until May, 1962.
