DEATH SENTENCES

SEOUL (South Korea). September 20. Three men were sentenced to death today for irregularities during the presidential elections tai March. 19«0. They were among 28 leading officials of the Liberal Party and Administration of the former President. Dr. Syngman Rhee, found guilty of election crimes by the South Korean Military Revolutionary Courts. The remainder were sentenced to various prison terms, one of life.
Those sentenced to death were Hui Suk Han, aged 53, chairman of die Central Planning Committee of the Liberal Party and campaign manager: the Home Minister in the Rhee Cabinet; In Choi Kyu. aged 42: and Kang Hak Lee, aged 38, the National police chief. Yong In Park, another member of the Liberal Central Planning Committee, was sentenced to life imprisonment. He was found guilty of collecting campaign funds from businessmen by illegal means.
