Empty Film Reels For Blind More than 200 empty 8 mm film reels had been given Recordings for the Blind International by the Christchureh Movie Club, said the (Hub president (Mr A. C. Stanbury) in his report to the annual meeting on Monday evening. The reels, used on tape recorders, help to supply educational and general informs, tion to blind persona through, out New Zealand. The New Zealand director of Recordings for the Blind International (Mr H. B. Jeffares) had thanked members for their co-operation, said Mr Stanbury. Officers elected were:— Patron. Mr G. M. Dixon; president, Mr G. Caldwell; immediate past-president, Mr A. C. Stanbury; vice-presi-dents. Mrs L. Berry, Messrs H. lynch, H. Wallis, A. Buckley; secretary, Mrs J. Kent; treasurer, Mrs C. Cottarn; editor, Mr K. G. Talbot; librarian, Mr R. Beckett; committee, Messrs I. Fisher, F. I. Coombes, K. McClay, M. H. Thomson, J. R. Harris, C. E. White; auditor, Mr J. L. McKie.
