C.W.I. Flower Show

The spring show of the Canterbury Federation of Country Women's Institutes held at Yaldhurst yesterday attracted 700 entries, representing 16 of the 19 institutes. The Canterbury Federation Trophy for most points in the show was won by Mrs G. L. Dent (Hillsborough-Heath-cote)

Other results were:—Cut flower section: Mrs S. Westaway (Kirwee) 1, Mrs G. L. Dent (Hillsborough-Heath-cote) 2. Homecraft section: Mrs E. Chandler (South Brighton) 1, Mesdames E. Beswick and M. Gould (South Brighton), equal, 2.

Most of the entrants were more than 65. The winner of the homecraft, section (Mrs E. Chandler) is 75.
