MOTHERS’ UNION CONFERENCE

Diocese Leaders To Meet

A talk entitled “The Mental Climate of Our Time” will be given by Mr G. Shouksmith during the Mothers’ Union (Christchurch Dioeese) leaders’ conference, to be held on September 26 and 27 at St, Peter’s Church, Upper Riccarton. Other addresses will include “Actual Situations” by the Rev. Canon M. Peaston; and “How Does the Insight We Have Gained Affect Me in My Personal Family and Community Life?” Mrs H. G. Norris will speak on how the insight we have gained could affect the content and method of our branch and group work.

Question periods, and discussion groups will feature in the conference. Holy Communion will be held in St. Peter’s, and there will be a marriage thanksgiving service in the Cathedral.
