Typhoon Near Okinawa
(N.Z.P. A .-Reuter— Copyright) TOKYO, September 14. Typhoon “Nancy,” carrying winds of more than 200 miles an hour, today changed direction north which brought it in line with the southern portion of Japan. United States Air Force weather officials forecast by tomorrow morning “Nancy” would be 115 miles north-north-east of Okinawa.
This morning “Nancy” was situated 253 miles south-south-east of Okinawa and was travelling north at 14 miles an hour with maximum winds of 207 miles an hour.
