Athletic MARATHON IN KOREA
Julian’s Entry In Doubt (N.Z.P A.-Reuter—Copyright) SEOUL, September 14. New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Ethiopia have not ■ replied to invitations to take part in the South Korea international marathon, according to the sponsors of the race. The Koreans have sent airline tickets for a runner and a coach from Australia, South Africa, the United States and Japan to fly to Korea for the race. But in Auckland last night the New Zealand runner, J. L. Julian, said his -nomination was sent two weeks ago and he had heard nothing since. Two cables have been sent urging that it be confirmed, reports the Press Association.
