Classic Manuf. Profit Falls
A decline in sales during the second half of the year ended June 19 resulted in net profit of the Classic Manufacturing Company. Ltd., falling by £689, or 8 6 per cent., to £7338.
The directors have considered it prudent to reduce the anuual dividend for the year from 8 per cent, to 6 per cent, states the deputychairman (Mr H E. Stricken) in his review.
Mayne Nickless.—Mayne Nickless. Ltd., carrier, customs and storage agents and armoured car operator, increased consolidated net profit from £193.959 to £214,412 in the year to June 30. and has held ordinary dividend at 15 per cent. The latest profit is a record.—(N.ZJ 1 .A.)
