UNAUTHORISED SIGN BESIDE A MOTUEKA ROAD.—These photographs show well-painted notices displayed for the benefit of motorists using the West Bank road above Ngatimoti. There has long been agitation in the area for better reading. The "false teeth” warning sign was removed, but two days later it was replaced by another sign referring to a grader presumably lost in a pot-hole. However, the grader has since been seen working on the offending stretch of road.
