Whispering Hall Dies
The Whipster mare, Whispering Hall, which was shipped to Sydney earlier tills year after being purchased by Dr. John Orr, died soon after foaling a few days ago. The filly foal, which was premature, also died. Whispering Hall was a sister to Don Hall, an outstanding winner a few years ago for his Tetnuka trainer. R. D. Teahen. Her first foal, by Morano, was named Silent Halt She started twice last season and at her most recent appearance finished fourth.
