No Licences Till Case Decided’

WELLINGTON. Sept. 15. No decision will be given by the Licensing Control Commission on any application for a restaurant liquor licence until the Supreme Court has decided whether restaurants in a no-licence area can hold a licence, a commission officer said today. The commission so far has heard applications in Auckland and Christchurch but in both places has deferred those concerning no-licence areas.
