Support For U.N. Action (N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) SALISBURY (Southern Rhodesia), Sept 15 The secretary-general of the Southern Rhodesian National Democratic Party, Mr George Silundika, last night warned the Central African Federation Prime Minister (Sir Roy Welensky) that the Africans would not allow President Tshotnbe of Katanga to come to Southern Rhodesia.
“He will get no asylum from us," said Mr Silundika. The party’s .leader, Mr Joshua Nkomo, had said earlier that the collapse of President Tshom-be’s Government had removed an irritating obstacle from the Congo. In Blantyre, the Malawi Congress Party leader, Dr. Hastings Banda, said that the United Nations action was long overdue. The Malawi Congress Party supported the central Congolese Government, he said.
