CURRENT NOTES
Women’s Day Service.— The Linwood Methodist Church held its annual women’s day services on Sunday. The morning service was conducted by Mrs M. McKenzie, assisted by Mrs G. Bielby, and Sister R. Collins took the evening service. The women's choir sang anthems at both services. The soloists were Mesdames J. McWilliams and H. Taylor. The services were organised by Mrs S. Hodgson. Visit to Ceylom—Miss J. Taylor, matron of the Princess Margaret Hospital, will leave Christchurch next week-end for Ceylon, where she is to be nursing administration consultant to a seminar on nursing administration organised by the World Health Organisation.
