Mr G. E. Atkinson Again Chairman
Mr G. E. Atkinson was reelected chairman of the management committee of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association by the committee last evening. A new committee member, Mr S. W. Bullen, elected at the annual meeting was welcomed to the meeting by Mr Atkinson. The committee appointed Miss P. J. Cuddon and Messrs M. C. Healey and A. D. Atkinaon as Canterbury selectors for 1961-62. Mr Atkinson is a new member of the panel. Dates proposed for representative fixtures in the coming season were:— v. West Coast, in Christchurch, and v. Otago in Dunedin—November 25 or December 9. v. Hutt Valley at HuttFebruary 10 or March 24. v. Wellington at Christchurch—March 10.
