Skeleton Found
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA. Sept. 4. The skeleton of a male was found in a patch of lupin 30 yards from the Matata Pa cemetery last week by a group of children. Whakatane police have sent the skeleton to Auckland for pathological observations. The children found the skeleton while playing. They told Mr H. Semmens, a Pongakawa Rabbit Boafd in. spector and a Maori warden. He rang the Whakatane police and a party under Sergeant A. H. Brannigan carried out on-the-spot in. vestigations. there was no trace of clothing. Members of a Matata shooting party today said they saw the skeleton two years ago but thought it the bones of an animal.
