(ly Z- Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. The New Zealand coaching itinerary for the Australian professional L. Akins was approved at tonight’s meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association management committee, subject to confirmation from the associations concerned. It is as follows: September 29-October 12. Wellington; October 13-16, Wairarapa; October 17, Hutt Valley; October 18-19, Nelson; October 21, Southland; October 23-24, Otago; October 26-28, Wellington (junior Davis Cup squad). \ St. Albans Club At the annual meeting o£ the St. Albans Tennis Club held last week, Mrs B. A. Miles, Who has been the secretary for 20 years, was unanimously elected a life member. Other officers elected were;— Patron, Mr J K. Haberfield; president, Mr B. Pauli; vicepresident, Mr B. Bigg; hon. secretary-treasurer, Mrs B. A. Miles; assistant secretarytreasurer, Mrs R. C. Robinson; men's club captain. Mr V. Price; men’s vice-captain, Mr M. O’Malley; women’s club captain. Miss V. Hamilton; women's vice-captain, Miss K. Reece; committee, Mesdames Brydon and Hanna, Messrs Brydon. Campbell and Habgood; delegates to Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association, Mr B. Pauli. Mesdames Hanna, Miles and Robinson; delegates to Junior Lawn Tennis Association. Miss K. Reece and Mr V. Price. September 23 will be opening day.
