Fewer Sheep

Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, September 1 The number of sheep in Australia fell by 2.500.000 between March. 1960, and March, 1961, according to figures released today by the Bureau of Census and Statistic*. This represented a fall of 1.6 per cent. from She record number of 155.174.000 in March, 1960. Australia now bed 152.668.000 sheep and this was the first major reversal hi the upward trend in numbers since 194$
