Nurse Injured In Fall

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. September 1. Elizabeth Dickens, aged 21, of Waitati, a final year nurse at Dunedin Hospital, was seriously injured yesterday when she fell from the Nurses’ Home in Castle street. The hospital reported today that she was “as well as can be expected” after an operation last night. Chief-Detecive G W. Alty said it was presumed the girl fell from the roof of the main four-storeyed wing of the home.

Mr P. J. Luxford, of Wellington, has been appointed to the Workers' Compensation Board to represent the employers.
