Man Hurt In Car Smash
(N .2 J’A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, August 28. A New Zealand seaman, Graham Ripley, from Christchurch, was taken to hospital after a three-car smash near Newcastle-on-Tyne last night, according to the “Daily Mail.” Ripley was not badly hurt, but two men, one a bride-groom-to-be, were killed in the smash, which occurred on a straight, well-lit stretch Of the Newcastle-on-Tyne to Whitley Bay coast road. Nine others were injured.
